I read, interpret, & teach Tarot with the belief that Tarot is as a tool for our times, with the capacity for strengthening connections, community, & networks of care. I approach this serious work unseriously - with a focus on play, exploration, and entertainment.
Close reading
As a reader (of books) first, I identify with the term Tarot Reader in that I literally “read” the cards with & for clients, making meaning (& having fun) with the narrative as it writes itself. I hold no set or unchanging expectations for what the cards might “mean”!
